The report of the bankruptcy proceedings, which appeared in our last issue, contained an error with respect to the withdrawal of the protection of Cffisare Nosei. The bankrupt's protection was not withdrawn. His Honor, commenting upon the non-appear-ance of the insolvent, intimated that, if any creditor had opposed, the continuance of the protection would have been withdrawn. Our reporter mistook these comments for an absolute withdrawal of the protection—with this exception the report was correct in its entirety. By the p.s. They expect to go about another 100 ft. before they are on the supposed line of reef. The prospectors are in about 200 ft.; they also are on some very hard stone, and in consequence are progressing but slowly. Nos. 1, 2 and 3, having amalgamated the party consists of 20 men. They have driven about 200 ft. in the short space of 3 weeks; the reef being pretty soft. They expect to go about 600 ft. more to the supposed line. No. 4 has been abandoned and taken up by No. 5. This party consists of 4 men. They are at present engaged erecting huts &c. This claim will take some time to prove on account of having to drive seven or eight hundred feet.
