Twopence! For every ounce or fraction of an ounce over one ounce Twopence] ll.—Country Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colonj for delivery at or from any other Post-offici within the same province— Not exceeding half-an-ounce ... Twopeuce Exceeding half-an-ounee but not exceeding one ounce Fourpence For every ounce or fraction of an ounce over one ounce ... Fourpence lll.—lnterprovincial Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colonj for delivery at or from any Post-office in arj other province within the ojlony Not exceeding half an ounce, Twopencri Exceeding half-an-ounce but not exceeding one ounce Fourpence: For every ounce or fraction of an ounce over one ounce Sixpence! NEWSPAPERS. Forplaces within the colony, the Australia! Colonies, and the United Kingdom, vr'a Sue and Southampton, are chargeable w«\ii a rat, of one penny. Newspapers for the United Kingdom, vi: Panama or Suez, one penny; and Marseille! threepence each. In consequence of newspapers being fre quently posted in packages of more than on number, the same are detained at the Chie Post-office, and attention is called to the fo] lowing postal regulation : " Newspapers for transmission within th colony shall be posted in single numbers, s, put up that the date of publication may b readily seen. Packages of newspapers consisl mg of more than one number shall be treat! as bookpackages.
