THE CHRISTMAS ELECTIONS. WHITE AND PIKIE beg to offer their services again to the Constituency, feeling confident that the past year's experience has qualified them to deal satisfactorily with several of those matters which will now very soon affect the comfort and advantage of those who want Clothes, and they solicit the continuance of that confidence of the free and independent electors which placed them last season at the head of the poll by so large a majority. As their views are now well known, it is not necessary to say much at present, nor does the limited space at their disposal in these columns admit of it. They will be happy, however, to meet their friends daily at WESTPORT HOUSE, and to offer any information or explanaations in their power as to their Clothing Policy generally. THE DOCTER'S EOE. While this title may be said to belong primarily to Flannel Under-cloth-ing, it may be applied in a wider sense to every description of Clothing which has for its objeet the protection of health, and the security of the comfort of man. In adopting the latter view, we would seek to press upon the attention of our population the consideration of the important lesson which it suggests, and in connection with it to publish widely the fact that the Largest Stock of such Goods is to be found, as hitherto, at WHYTE AND PIRIE'S.
