Per Murray, from Nelson—2 hhds, 8 qrcasks ale, Allen ; 1 cask sundries, Morton. The s.s. Murray left Nelson on Monday night, and at tide-time on Tuesday evening she entered the port. Yesterday evening she sailed for Hokitika. A new line, called the " Merchants Line of Ships to New Zealand," is advertised in England. The commencement does not seem auspicious. A ship lately left London for Canterbury with room in her for 700 tons of goods. The Board of Trade has awarded a gold watch and chain to Captain H. Niemeyer, of the Hamburg barque Pyrniont, in recognition of his humane services to tho passengers and members of the crew (31 in all) of the late ship Blue Jacket, of Liverpool, whom he picked up at sea, on the occasion of their vessel being burnt.
