THE LATE FOOT-BALL MATCH.
(To the Editor of the Westport Times.) Sie, —A report appears in the letter of your Charleston correspondent of Saturday last to the effect that the Charleston men won the foot-ball match on the 17th instant. Such, however, was not the case, nor did the Charleston men claim to be the victors, they having won the first goal only. The second fell to the lot of the men of Addison's, and it being then too late to play the third or deciding goal the match resulted in a draw. By inserting the above at your earliest convenience, you will much oblige yours, &c., Philip M'Ebtboe. Thomas Howe. Addison's Flat, March 24.
