llokttika.—The Daily Keivs of Thursday reports : Mr G. W. Bitmey sold yesterday, ex l)uiiedin, 999 bags of oats ; being the entire cargo, at prices ranging from 4s Id to 4s 3d ; and by the Nora, 36D bags of oats from 3s lUkl I to 4s 2d ; bran, 2s o£d. Not a bag of bran, or oats was withdrawn. Afterwards, Mr Binney sold, ex the Kennedy, 140 bags of potatoes at from £9-to £9 15s per ton. A very large attendance of buyers was present. Meiboukne. The Gothenburg brought Melbourne dates to the 27th ult. The following is the latest report:— Business is generally active. Flour£l2 10s in trade parcels. New wheat is coming forward sparingly. Twelve thousand bushels V torian wheat have been sold for os 6d. Barley wanted. Oats, which hud reached 4s Gd, have receded to 4s 3d. Quick sales of New Zealand oats have -taken place at that price. Maize has receded from 5s fid to as. Malt, lls 3d. Sugars have experienced a fall of ten shillings. The sales of brandy, in bulk, are as follows :—Hennessy's, 8s ; Martell's new, 7s 'd. Kerosene, Is Gd to Is lid, slow. Candles have fallen a id. Butter, in kegs, Is lod. Adelaide.—Jan. 26. —Corn market active; flour, £ll to £l2 ; wheat offered at 4s.
