We must bespeak the forbearance- of our readers for a few days. The space at our disposal does not enable us to give such an amount or yariety of reading matter as we should like to give, or to discuss local topics at the length which may be desirable. After the Christmas holidays it is not likely that there will be any cause for complaint in these respects. On Saturday nest —Boxing-Day— no paper will be published, as the members of our staff are graciously permitted to enjoy, on Christmas Day, their solitary annual holiday.
