Westport Trvrg Office, Monday Evening. The amount of duty collected at the Custorn House to-day was £333 19s 4d. The revenue received for the week ending Saturday has been £S9O Os 4cl which shows an increase of £320 over last week's receipts on imports. The Union Bank shipped this day 1000 ozs of gold. During the past week the arrivals of live slock have been large, the total received per Wallabi, Charles Edward, John Perm, and Beautiful Star, being 162 head of cattle and five hundred and fifty sheep; some of the Charles Edward's lot realised ,£32 a head. At a sale held on the North Spit thi3 dny, of the John Penn's lot, Mr Robertson obtained prices varying from £I2TOs a head ; the sheep to hand by the Penn are consigned to Mr Dick, of the firm of Dick and Seaton. Meat opened, after the arrival of the "Wallabi at a great advance, the prices now being nhiepcnce, tenpence, and one shilling, for cash only. Trade during the week has been extremely steady,—flour remains firm at last week's quotations, retailers' prices remain unaltered. Large arrivals of .every description of produce are to hand 'by, the different steamers, including fowls, &p. The p.s. Nelson had some Auckland pheasants on board in fine condition, and they were procurable at a moderate price.
