The p.s. Lyttelton, Captain Scott, left Nelson on August the Ist, and put into Wan-
.ganui to coal ; left Wnnganui on Saturday at 2o'clock run., and came in with yesterday afternoon's tide. She has a largo cargo on board, and appears to be very deep in the ■water: her files are of older dates than those already 1o hand. The s.'s. Beautiful Star left Wnngariui on Friday and put into Totaranni on Saturday, left Totaranni on Sunday, and arrived outside the bar on Monday morning at 3 a.m ; crossed the bar and came up to the South Spit at 9 a.m. She brings 52 head of cattle and a general cargo. The s.s. John Perm left; Nelson on Sunday
morning nt 2 a.m., and crossed the Btiller bar * at. 2.30 a.m. en Monday morning. She brought a number of live stock besides n. general cargo, and proceeded to Nelson yesterday afternoon.
