WAIRARAPA RACING CLUB.
A special meeting of Stewards was held on Saturday, to consider what was best to bo done with reference to the two disqualified persons who took part in the Races on Christmas Day. It was resolved-" That this Club recommend the romoval of the disqualification by the Metropolitan Club, of all persons who took part at the uuregistofod meetings at Marfinborough and Feathorston, on tlie 25 th inst., and proviouS meetings, on the distinct understanding that novoi* again will this Club the removal in similar cases—aud that a copy bo wired to the Metropolitan Club," Tho reply received from Wellington was"Secretary and nearly ail stowardsoutof town. Yory sorry cannot do anything. —Edward Peakce." Mr Bidwill then wired" If you can get stewards together before Wednesday it will do, Wire Hntton results at FeatberstonW. E. Bidwill, Chairman."It will thus be seen that this club is doing all possible to undo the mischief done by thoughtless pooplo in this matter,
