GRASSENDALE SPORTS.

The above Sports wore held in the paddock adjoining the Grassendale Hotel. Towards 11 o'clock a great number of spectators had gathered together, and at 12 o'clock wo saw the first race. Great praise is due to the Committee for the way in which they attended to the wants of the people on the Sports Ground, and also the condition of the course. The following are the results of the races •MAIDEN RACE, 120 yards, R.Elliott ~ ~ ~ i J. Munto 2 The others were out of it. RUNNING LONG JUMP HANDICAP. B. Collerton (handicap Sit Oin), W* 20U9m 1 Oliver (handicap 111),20ft Gin 2 Collerton with his handicap of two feet nine inches proved too much for tbo others. fiRASSEXDALE HASDICAP. £10; first distance 220 yds.
