N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING.
(Jlii lelcgraith—Press Association). CtiiiisTcitracH, Saturday. The weather is warm and still for the Now Zealand Athletic Meeting to-day, which begins at Lancaster I Park at 2 p.m. Canterbury is expected to win the banner, but as even the local papers only lip them to win two firsts, if they do, it will apparently have to be by means of second and third places. The town is filling up with athletes for the Intercolonial Meeting next week, and a largo nuiiito of visitors are expected.
