THE BARKER-PLACKE FIGHT.
Received December 13, 10.15 p.m. Sydney, Deoember 13. Barker has been acquitted on tho charge of committinggrievous bodily barm on Placke. The jury added a rider that the Government should take steps to put a stop to boxing contests.
