THE TOWN TRUST VACANCY.

MR LOWES CLAIMS THE SEAT. [lO THE EDITOR.] Sib, —I understand that my seat on tho Town Lands Trust has boon declared vacant. I disagree with this decision, my reason being that my apology for non-attendance at the October meeting was accepted by the Trust and leave of abseuce given, and only ono meeting has taken place subsequently which I have not attended. As threoconsecutive non-attendances are required to invalidate tho seat, I claim to be Gtill a Trustee, and will take my seat as usual at tho next .meeting, W. Lowes. Mastetion, December 9th, 189j>,
