Some little time ago Mr J, Payton resigned bis position as a member of tlio Mastevton Park Trust, tlio Truatees recommending a successor, Tho following is a copy of a letter juflt received by Mr W. Sellar, Secretary ' to the Park Trustees, from the Colonial Secretary's Offico Colonial Secretary's Office, Wellington, N.Z., 3rd December, 1895. Sir,-I have the honoLto acknowledm the receipt of your letter ol 21st October noti ymR the resignation ol Mr Joseph Paylon, ob a Trustco ol the Maßterton Park itoserve, and stating that the Trustees C Mommenu as his successor, Mr Archibald ' hdfi&r D'Atcy.
