Rowse, preaching i the Wesleyan Church last Sunaa; evening made speoiat montion o Hymn No. 59, found in Wesley' hymn book, and stated that th sublime hymn in question wa written by Charles Wesley th poet, during a visit lie made t the rocky coast of the Lands Eud, i: Cornwall, The narrow jet of lam facing tho Atlantic Ocean on eitbe side, connecting Cape Cornwall witl tho Mainland, no doubt inspired th poet to utter tho noble 6ontiment found in the hymn referred to. Shearing operations down thi end of tho Valley, in tho larg sheds, aro suspended in consequent of the wet weather.
