Received November 21,10 p.m. Sydney, November 21,
Tho Judge, in directing tho jury in tho Sheridan case, pointed out that though in ordinary cases ol murder, wilfulness must be shown, in this case there was a spocial dollnition, Sheridan was charged with maliciously causing the death of a young woman, but malice bad no special significance in this charge. Tho law bearing on the matter moant that tho act must bo obviously dangerous to human life. If the jury were satisfied that the offenco had been committed recklessly, wantonly, or with obvious danger to life, they must bring in a verdict of murder.
