By n trap accident on the Awatore Road, yesterday, a man named Whatling, a well-known local sport, was killed, and another named Saunders, badly injured. The party were on their way to a pigeon-shooting match, when the Ijprses bolted and tho trap was precipitated down a gully. Whatling was' thrown out, and a box containing pigeons, fell ou bjni, killing him almost instantly. ' !
