From Our Omi Correspondent. Tuesday. The usual monthly meeting of tlie Town Board was hold on Monday evening, the following members being present:—Messrs Jas. Donald (Chairman), C. Cundy, W, lluildcr juiir., W. Benton, A. Jlclvensrie and \V. 11, Nicols. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. T'le Treasurer's statement shewed a credit balance of £SO Ss S'd. Accounts amounting to £4O lis lOd. The receipts for the evening were hawkers' fees 10s and impounding fees ;C4 iis Cd. In answer to correspondence it was resolved to allow Mr Unvin two culverts provided he makes them and supplies the timber and the Board's Overseer puts them in i also that the li'eutherston Board should have the use of the Board room at a rental of 10s per annum; that a special meeting of the Town Board should be held on Monday 14th to receive the deputation re the now public library and reading room. It. was resolved to throw open Ihe streets for grazing from Kith inst., from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and that any one householder should only run two cows. It was resolved to draw plans and specifications for the alterations to the shed on the cricket grounds. This being all the business the meeting terminated,
