MASTERTON HOSPITAL TRUST.
MONTHLY MEETING.
The regular monthly meeting of the Masterton Hospital Trustees was held yesterday afternoon. Present —Mosses J, C. Boddington (chairman), J. B. Keith and J. lorns. MIXUTES. The minutes of tho last meeting were read and confirmed. treashier's report. Tho Treasurer reported a credit balance at date of £25 as Id. apologies. An apology was received from Mr W. 11. Beetham as he had been willed to Wellington on urgent business. Tho Secretary said tie Rev. Father McKennii was unavoidably absent at Wellington, und Mr B. Feist at Carterton. On the motion of tho Chairman I leave of absence was granted the j absentees, RETORT. The report on patients showed that there were eight patients in the Hospital at the beginning of the month | four were admitted during the month and six discharged, leaving four males and two females under treatment at present. ACCOUNTS. The following accounts were passed for payment: -T. G. Ma6on, £ll 17s 8d; W.F.GA.,£J3 2s;H. Jones, £l6s; A. Stcmua, £2 3s 7d; W.C.Cargill,£3os6d; H.Phillips, £llos.
IMPROVEMENTS. The report of the sub-Committee appointed to visit the Hospital and decide on certain suggested improvements, recommended the erection of a store-room sixteen feet long; that eighty feet of hose be obtained, and that coal be tried in the wards, somo of the fire-places to be fitted with College grates. The report was adopted. V(StTISG MEMBER.
Mr J. C.Boddingtonwasappointed visiting member, and the meeting went into Committee to deal with patients' accounts.
