THE MANCHESTER DIRECT TRADE.
London, October, 3, The Manchester syndicate, which proposes to establish a direct steamer service with the Colonies, is willing to reduce freights from ten to fifteen percent below London rates, but insists that the contracts should at least bo for two years.
