A good deal of excitement was caused on hoard tho Aimutaka, on September 6th, owing to a firo breaking out in the insulation of the refrigoringcharaber. The lire, whicli was caused by a trimmer leaving a lamp too close to the wood-work, was extinguished in a couple of hours.
