Meßßi's E. E. Hornblow and Co., auctioneer; unci produce merchants, report as follows for week ending Saturday, September 28tli:—Oar sales during tlio week have been fairly good. Horse feed still keeps up in price. Butter and eggs remain at our last week's quotations. Bacon and hams show a slight declino. In poultry wo lmd no entries on Saturday, but have supplied a few private sales. We received an extensive consignment of potatoes for auction this week, and we wore surprised to find the demand equal to the large quantity we received; a furthor supply is oxpected which will also be sold for what they will fetch. Our land transactions were not large; wo only succeeded in selling one town section. We report prices as follows Eggs, 5d per doz; fowls, 2s 2d; ducks, 4s 9d; turkeys, 7s 6d; geese, 4s 6d por pair; hams and bacon, Gfd and 7d per lb; outs, 2s to 2s 2d; oaten sheaf, 3s; potatoes, 4s to 5s por sack for best tablo sorts; oranges, 2s M per enso; bananas, 5s per case; muttou birds, Is per pair; hack horses, 25s to £8; harness horses, £3 10a to £9; new trap, £l4; new buggy, £34; socond-band buggios, £5 and £l3; double furrow plough, 2 harrows, etc., £l3; English setter, 9s 6d; greyhound, ss; pack of six rabbit dogs, 255,
