WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB BALL.

., The annual plain aud fancy dress ball, hold under the auspices of tho Wairarapa Hunt Club, in the Palace Hall, Greytown, last evening, quite eclipsed all its predecessors as regards attendance. It is estimated that fully 130 couples were present, and the dancing accommodation of tho hall was taxed to its utmost.' The great majority of thoso present were visitors from different parts, every portion of the district being fully represented. All arrangements were faithfully r r carried out by a good working committee, with the untiring Secretary, Mr H. O. Tully, at its' head, and the enjoyment of all present was fully ensured, Splondid music was provided by Kcarsloy and Varnbam'a orchestra, and the floor was in excellent condition. ThogaHeriep,flnpper table, interior of tbe ball were most tastefully decorated with bunting, Nikan palms, hunting trophies and tfjpttoes. A largo number of dancers l(fa attired in fancy costumes, and altogether made up a most brilliant .spectacle. Tho M,C.'s, Messri Bright, .
