WELLINGTON UNIVERSITY SITE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wkuixgtok, Wednesday. At a mooting of the Council of tho Wellington University College, tho Bishop of Wellington presiding. Dr Chappie stated that owing to pressure of public business, the Premier had been unable to receivo the deputation urging that the Mount Cook prison site be given for the University. A petition in favour of this course has been signed by 6150 citizens.
