COLLISION AT SEA.

Brisbane, August 23. The steamer Ranelta, bound for Sydney, collided with the schooner Moonba, near the pilot station. The schooner struck the stejmer with great force, cutting through the plates amidships and causing a gap of two feet through which the water poured in, As there was a danger of the steamer sinking, it was headed for the slioro and the boats swung out; however, by great energy, the crew and passengers shifted sufficient cargo to cant tho vessel and bring the rent above tho water line, The Ranelza then steamed back here. Tlio schooner also sustained much damage.
