(iiKiSTCHUKcn, Tuesday, The footballers arrived at Lyttolfon at 2.30 to-day, after a rather rough passage in the Flora, taking over twenty hours, The ateamcr was crowded, and the footballers had to chance berths. Nearly overyonc was in a weak condition on landing, but nil expect to be fit to-morrow. The team loaves by express on Wednesday morning for Timnrn, playing the first match on Thursday, Watson has been chosen captain. The team is staying at the Clarendon, and the Canterbury officers are doing their best to make the team comfortable. Auckland ut. South Oahterbury. Hi/ Iclegraph.—Press Asswklwn. TisiAiiii, Wednesday. Auckland beat South Canterbury by 9 points to nil. Absolom scored three tries.
