IntheAssembly thedebate isgoing on on the Stock Tax, its opponents claim it is an Anti-Federal impost, and would causeagreat loss of trade, The amendments to reduce the amount from 30s to £1 per head on cattle and make it twenty-five per cent, ail valorem has been negatived.
