BLACK O. WHITE LABOR.
Received, August 3,11.30 a.m. Memjouhxe, August 3. In the Assembly, tho Labour members raised the question of new produce export contracts, and urged the Government not to entertain the tender of the P. & O. Company, while they continued to employ cheap black labour,as the farmers objected and arc opposed to having their produce carried by blacks to the exclusion of whites. The Premier promised to give the matter careful consideration before the tendors were accepted.
