RESIGNATION OF SIR E.B. MALET.
Sereieed August 2, 1 a.m. London, August 1. Sir E. 13. Malet, British Ambassador at Berlin, has resigned from the diplomatic service owing to illhealth.
The Emperor of Germany has expressed great regret at his retirement.
