The stock snleheldbyMrF.il.' Wood nl Mr Driscoll's farm, Carterton, was very largely attended, and n satisfactory sale resulted. The following is a quotation of prices realized:—Sheep: breeding ewes, 2, 4 and 6-tooth, 10s; storo ewes, 4s 5(1; forward ewes and wethers, 7s; lambs, 4s t»d; culls, Is Gd; rams, los. Cattle: 2 and three year old steers, low condition, 565; calves, 14s to IBs; cows, 30s toß7s; heifers, 42s fid. Mr Uriscoll with his accustomed hospitality, entertained his visitors very liberally.
