GREYTOWN NEVUS.
From Our Oicii Correspondent. WtD.VKSDAV. The concert Unit was to liaye taken place lust night was further postponed in consequence of the inclemency of the weather. The iS.iU. Court was crowded yesterday to hear the charges brought against the throe alleged burglars. McDonald, one of the men, was discharged as there was no evidence to prove that lie was in any way connected with the burglaries. He was then culled and gave evidence to the effect that the other two men, Plank and Schofield, left the ramp 011 a certain night in June last and burglariously entered tlio railway station atGreytown. Ho recognised the articles produced in Court as those stolen. The S.M. adjourned the case at (! o'clock until to-morrow. Bail was refused. There were 110 less than five constables in Court. Mr Acheson is acting for the defence.
