The sales opened fairly, but when the Now Zealand lots were reached, it was at the fag end of a completely , disorganised market, and with the exception of the early lots nothing but ruination prices wero obtained -in fact, the day's sales closed before the time.owingto tho paralysis which had set in, A large numbor of sheep too passed in, Only Lincolns were offered, The Now Zealand sales were as follows:
Forrest, Waikato—l7 |ramij, 18s ram lambs, 10s 6d; 5 owes, 1|- guineas. _ Jienlove-24 stud rams averatptl £l l4s 9d; 66 flock rami averaged 13s; 2 ewes, U guineas oach. Seddon, Waikato—Sams, passed; 18 owes, 13s Cd each.
Andrews, Canterbury-Fourrams, averaged£l 16b 3d; 17 rams, 12s 6d.
Goodfellovr, To Awamutu-)8 rams, 10s 6d each; 20 ram lambi, 10s 6d oach; 10 ewes lambs, 2m There aro still a large numffof « skeep from New Zealand to offer.
To-day's catalogue was hold over until to-morrow, and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have also a heavy catalogue to offer.
