A TERRIBLE DEATH
Melbourne, July 9, Details of the accident on board t!ia S.D. Carlton, show that Halci, tlie chief oflicer, was literally choked to death in the presence of the crew, lie being pinned between the deckhouse and the wheelliouse. Webster, who was lost overboard is reported to have a wife and family in Wellington.
