MHSSRS SIMMS A MOWLEM'S STOCK SALE REPORT,
The stock yarded on Wednesday, in all classes, was considerably in excess of the advertised entries; the attendance was undoubtedly the largest we have bad round us for some months, and the sale was brisk throughout. Bidding was most spirited for good lines in both sheep and cattle, and all lots changed hands, with the exception of one line of ewes, and half-a-dozen springing heifers. Tho prices realised, were as followsßeef—Bullocks (small) jfaj fat cows, £<l 15s to £5; fat heifers, £1 17s Gd to £5 Is; two and three-year-old steers (a large entry) 50s to 80s; springing lioifcrs,i'.'J 10s to £lss; calves, 16s to 225. SheepFat ewes (light) 5s (id; ewes in lamb, 4s to 5s (id; lambs, 2s lOd to 5s 3d. Horses—About a dozen offered, but no sale effected.
