GREYTOWN NEWS.

From Our Oien Correspondent, Thursday, The Loyal Greytown Lodge of Oddfellows, 1.0.0.1''., M.U., held their lutf-ycai'ly meeting last night 1 inlheirludgeroom. Visiting brethren' were present from Masterton, Carterton and Martinborough, The repott and balance-sheet wore read and adopted, showing the Society to be in a nourishing position financially, the tntnl worth of the Lodge being £IO7O. At the social held afterwards a sumptuous spread was provided, and a most enjoynblo evening spent by all present. The usual toasts wore proposed and duly honoured. Lodge honours were accorded the visiting brethren. Bro. Trotmau represented the Court of Foresters. The visiting brethren responded to the toasts of their Lodges, and expressed their pleasure at being so well entertained A good musical programme was submitted, and the gathering dispersed just before 1 a.iu, this morning. Bro. I). P. Loasby, P.I'.C.M, presided, mid the following were the visiting brothers piesout:— Bros. Dalton (Jlarlinhorough), Kershaw and Krahagen (Mastciton), Molloy, Bond, Marlin, Sparks, and two or three other brothers from Carterton, and Bro. Trotinan (Court of Foresters), Songs were contributed by Bros, W. A. Tate, (I, Hnmphiies, Amos, Loasby, Dalton, Kershaw, Sparks, llolloy, and others. The I'.G.iM. of the Carlerloii Lodge invited any of the members of the Greytown Lodge to attend the next Lodge meeting.
