From our oim Correspondent. Wednesday. Tho usual monthly meeting of tho Town Board was held on Monday evening. Present, Messrs Jas. Donald (chairman), J. G, Cox, C, Gundy, and W. Hodder, junr. The minutes of the previous meetwere read and confirmed. The Treasurer reported a debit balance of £66 8s 9d. Accounts amounting to £52 lSs Id were passed for payment. Tho following tenders were received for the lease of the Water Reservo for a term of 14 or 2 L years: J. Lawry and Jas Tocker, £l3. per annum for 21 years; W. Buckeridgo, £5 per annum for the first 7 years, £lO por annum for the second 7 years, and £ls per annum for the third 7years; John Cuiidy £7 10s per annum for the first fivo years, £lO per annum for the second fivo years, and £ls per annum for the rest of the term. The latter tender was accepted. The following tenders were received for the position of poundkeeper :-D. A. Smith, £2B 12s; J. McCarthy, £25; F. W. Good, £2O. It was resolved to accept Mr Good's tender. The Clerk was instructed to sue for all rates which are not paid with'fourteqn days from date. Tho usual fortnightly meeting qf the Knights of Labor was luld last oyoning, when tho officers were Installed for the ensuing half-year,
