There was a good attendance at jesterday's sale, and again the stock was greatly in excess of advertised entries, and generally of fair to good quality. Bidding was a little slack at the commencement, Lut improved as the •■ salo progressed. A few pens of sheep were passed at the hammer, but were quickly placed privately. The followinß prices were realised:—Mixed fat and forward welhcrs, 7s 3d, 7s 9d, and 8s; store wethers, 2 tooth, 6s fid to 6s fid; small ditto, as; heavy fat ewes, 8s; ordinary ditto, Os to Gs Gd; young breeding ewes, 4s lOd to 6s; full-mouth <■ * ditto, 4s to 6s j old ditto, 2s 6d to 3s 9d; lambs, Is Cd to 3s fld. In cattle, 3-ycar-oid beef steers, £o 19s j fat cows, to £5 Is; springing heifers, 75s toß2s 6d; 21-year-old steers, 80s; cows, 55s to 80s; small calves, 14s, In pigs, porkers, 50 to COlbs, 14s 6d to lGs; small pigs, 3s 3d to 6s 6d; sows in pig, £3, Ko demand for horses,
