The Mount Lyell Mine.
Memouiim, June 13. Tenders have been opened for £150,000 worth of Mount Lycll debentures. £171,000 was subscribed at prices ranging from par, which was the minimum fixed, to 105 i, £66,000 was offered at a rate above par. The application in support on behalf of certain shareholders to restrain the issue of these bonds stands partly heard. The objection is not to the floating of the loan, but to the proposal that the debenture holders should have' the option of surrendering the debentures, and receiving shares in exchange.
