J [BY DAMOCLES.] , ?The following team will represent the Masterton Stars against the Orientals on Thursday, on the Park Oval at 2.30 p.m.:—H. Wrigley, Jackson, Rcnall, Thompson, D'Arcy, Jeffries, Stone, Doughty, Welling, ton, Westbrook, Wise, Cameron, Hansen, T. Wrigley, and Hoar. At a meeting of the Oriental Club •' held last evening Mr E. Harland was elected vice-captain, , Mr J. Mandel, of the Club Hotel, f has offered a gold medal to be given at tho end of the football season to the most serviceable player in North Wairarapa. A Committee, to be chosen from tho local senior Clubs, will decide upon the recipients. The following will represent Carterton in their Banncrmatch against Masterton, at Masterton, on Saturday :—Booth, Allen, Kiddie Nicolson, Booth, Telford, Moore (2), Cad (2), Waterson, (Jdy, Mcrewood, j Calliater, Tully. Emergencies: Burling, Waterson. The following will represent the Hovers in their Cup match against . jto White Stars on Thursday at! TlMterton:—Backs, McEwen, Par. ker (2), Hodder, Booth, Bayliss; forwards-Armstrong (2), Sunnex :'- (2), McKenzie, Bowles, Hart, Whyto, Jackson— Emergencies—Wakelin, Stoodley.
