FOOTBALL NOTES.

(By Damocles). The Kotahitanga Football Club played a match with the Lower Valloy Rangers (both Native teams) atPapawai on Queen's Birthday. A large concourse of people, principally Natives, witnessed the match, which very much resulted in favour of the former team, who defeated the Rangers by 35 points to nil. The passing of the Rangers was anything but good.

Tho Huias (Papa™) played a game with tho Rangers last Saturday at Papawai. The Rangers meeting with another terrible dsfeat of 23 points to nil. Tho former team played a rattling game and Bhowed good form throughout.
