I A lire broke out inlieagloy's Block, l:il-:i.m. on Sunday, but was conlined to tlio premises occupied by Messrs Loader, linker and Mann, tobacconists. The slocks of Bowdin (fruiterer), 0. Hall (stationer), and the ollice books and fittings of Mr Florancc (solicitor), were damaged by removal. Tlio insurances are unknown, ilium's chimney had been on lire before, and llio woodwork had evidently smouldered unnotiral. Mr Loader loses £SO, and Mr | Mann £IOO, and both arc uninsured, i Mr Horiinco had his library insured ' for £IOO in the Phienix, and Mr ' Hall was insured for £IOO in the \ Norwich Union. Mr Dudley was ', insured for the same amount in the , same ollice on the buildings. |
