Messrs Lowes and lorns report at their stock salo yesterday:—Entries to hand were far in excess of advortised list, and the class were much better than those of last salo, and abettor tone throughoutoxperienced, Good breeding cwes,forward wethers and good ewes being most in demand, of an. entry of 5000 submitted only 400 failed to find purchasers. Cattlo were fairly represented, stores still selling at low figures, hut beef of good quality improved in valuo. The following are the prices obtained : Fat wethers, 7a 9d; good stores, 6s, 6s to 7s 6d; fat ewes, heavy, 7b • medium, 6s to 6s 6d; forward empty ewes, 5s Gd; 2-tootli wethers, 5s 3d • to 6s 3d; young ewes, in lamb, 5s 6d; sound ewes, 4s 6(1; aged, la9d to 2s 6d; lambs, 2s.
