Mastebtos, Monday. Messrs R. E. Hornblow and Co,, auctioneers and produce merchants, report as follows for the weekending Saturday, May 11th. Business during tho week has been (airly good; but the circulation of ready money, much tightor than we have noticed it for some time. Our sales at Carterton and Mauricoville during the week were good, especially so in tho former township. The produce market is somewhat sluggish, and values in all lines very low. Oats and chaff remain at last week's quotations. Potatoes aro a shado lower. Eggs aro scarce and wo can place all consigned to us at our prices. Butter shows no improvement. Poultry finds ready sale, but prices aro low. Our weekly horse sale was somewhat flat, on account of tho inferior class of horses entered, Pigs are firmer in price than they have been for some time. In our land department we have numerous applicants on our books in search of leaseholds with right of purchase, One block of SCO acres passed through our bands during the week, also ono town property, We append prices as follows ; Butter: Gd per lb; eggs, Is Cd per dozen.

PouJtiy: Fowls, Is 6d to 2s 3d per pair; ducks, lis 2d; turkcyc, 4s 9d; geese, 'is.

Produce: Oats, Is 7d to2sper bushel; oaten sheaf, 2s to 2s 3d por bag; straw chaff, Is Id per bag; potatoes, 50s to 60s per ton or 5s 9d per sack; good wheat, 3s 3d per bushel. Horses rango from 40s to £9, Pigs: 4to 6 months, 9s to 15s. Second-hand harness, 30s to 455; saddles, 15s to 355, Vehicles: Traps, £6 to £l2; carts, £5 to £7, '
