Smith & Co. v. Peter Hender-son.--Claim £3 15s Id, Judgment by default with costs. G. Haskell v. T. Parsons.-Mr Pownall for plaintiff. Ulaim £7 10s, balance due on contract for painting. Judgment by default with costs. j. L. Murray v. J. G. May.—Mr Pownall for plaintiff, Claim £3 5s for goods supplied, Judgment by default with costs. IMMEDIATE EXECUTION. Croft and Jenkins v. Henderson Bros. Claim £56 2s 4d, kalance due on contracts for erecting two houses for defendants afcEketalrana, cartage of piles, etc., and supply of extra timber, Plaintiff asked if he could got immediate execution, as he had been very badly treated over tlie matter, His Worship gave judgment for defendant, aud granted immediate execution.
JUDGMENT SUMMONS, R. Maltby v. W. Fellingham. , Defendant was called to show cause i why he had not complied with a judgment summons. His Worship pointed out that plaiutifE must show that the judgment debtor had possessed means J since the issue of the summons. Debtor, in reply to the Bench, admitted receiving £ll under a forced sale of favnituro, over which he held a bill of sale, but stated that ho had been out of work, and only got about £3 out of the sum, after paying lawyers' and auction charges. His Worship adjourned the case until 2 p.m. to allow the debtor to prepare a written statemont of how the £ll had been expended, JUDGMENT. Hooten and Co. v. C. S. Walker. —Judgment in the above case, ia which plaintiffs sought to upset an assignment, was given in favor of defendant, and sum of £l7 ordered to be returned to lira Walker. ALLEGED TRESPASS. P. Juno v. A. Reside.—Claim for damages for alleged trespass of de-: ■ fendant's sheep, which being in a 'paddock without grass, are stated to have broken through onto plaintiff's land at To Oro Ore, and were subsß' quently rescued by defendant before plaintiff had timo to impound the sheep, Mr Pownall, who appeared for plaintiff, stated that £1 had been paid into Court, Mr Board appeared for defendant, | (Left Sitting.)-
