JABEZ BALFOUR.

Loxdox, May 6. Jabez , Balfour was smuggled ashore at Southampton on the customs launch. This step being taken to evade a small army of press men who were waiting to interview the prisoner. He was then conveyed to the Bow Street Police Station. Efforts to evade thecrowd at Waterloo Railway Station being successful. Balfour was subsequently brought before the Court, and remanded.
