MEETING OF CREDITORS.
ESTATE OF JOHN M. DREW. At the first meeting of creditors in the cstato of John M. Drew, held this morning, no creditors were present or represented. The D.O.A, (Mr W, B. Chenells) examined tho debtor, who stated in 1891 he assigned all his property and live stock to his wife, and at that time did not owe any of the present debts, which were incurred during the last three years, and wore for necessaries of life. Tho horse seized by the bailiff was the property of bis wife under tho assignment, tho others wero sold previously. He bad no olfor to make, but was willing to pay his creditors in full, when he could get work. Of the liabilities, £l2 was for money lent him to assist in legal proceedings in connection with the Admiral Run, of which he held a lease, The bankrupt, in a written statement, said that ho leased the Admiral Run, at Gladstone,in 1887, and left it three years ago, The lessors having sold the property bofore his lease expired, ho lost considerably by the salo of his stock, When bo left the ran he had LSO which bad been used for his family's support, Binco then he had not obtained sufficient employment for his own and family's support,
