FEATHERSTON NEWS.
From Our Otni Cormpoudtnt Monday,
Last evening, Mrs Fenwick, senr., who was returning from Kaiwaiwai in a buggy with Mr Fenwick, Miss Feast and Mrs Buckeridge, was thrown violently from the buggy by a man who was riding furiously colliding with it. Mrs Fenwick was terribly cut about and bruisod, and Whiles these injuries the man's Imrsetrod upon her, the consequences not being known yet, It is feared that some of the ribs are broken.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Loyal Unity Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U,, was held onSaturdaycvoning. The Treasurer reported a credit balance of L24os 2d. It was resolved to plant trees about the lodge groundß and to generally improve them. It was resolved to request Mr W. 0. Williams to present the Lodge with an enlarged photo of himself, as he was the first Past Grand Master of the Lodge.
