Legislator and Waiuku carried on the running to the back, when the former fell away, and The Artist and Spindrift closed up. Hack Hurdles.-Bird 1, Revenue "2. Only starters. Won very easily. Time 3min Usees. Div. £1 7s.

Steeplechase.-Austral 1, Fishmonger 2. All the others fell. Minerva and Raven were scratched. Fishmonger inn off at the last fence, otherwise the finish would have been interesting. As it was Austral won by a furlong. Time, 7min 4secs. Div., £23. Hack Race.—Swordlish, 1, Wairongoroa 2, Silent Friend 3. Won easily. Div., £i 16s.

Electric Handicap.-St Clements 1, St, Laura2, Aphony 3, also started -King's Bowman, Golden Fleece, Starlight, Revolution and Ben Varry. Won by a length and a-half. Div., £2l7s. £10,717 was put through the machine during the meeting, being an increase of £1209 over last year.
