ARCHBISHOP REDWOOD AT MASTERTON. *
His Grace Archbishop Redwooi arrived in Jlastertonyesterdayafternoon, being met at the Wningawa by a deputation of the HiMrnian Society and several a demonstration of welcomo was accorded. His Grace. was nccom-S panied by Father J, McKenna, of ■ Mnsterton, and |> of Wellington, who had been as- | sisting at the consocration of the | new Church at Jlartinborongh. At 7 o'clock services were held in St, Patrick's Church, the altar being tastefully decorated with rare (lowers for the occasion. Mr Bunny' conducted the choir, the bolo " There is a Green Hill Far Away," being artistically renderod by Miss Fisher. Archbishop. Redwood preached an eloquent sermon on the salvation of tbosoul.
To-day His Grace opens a Mission at Masterton which will last till' May 6th, when the Sacrament of confirmation will be administered. During the week serviceJtill be hold as under :-Wo' a,m. and 9 a.m.-Muss; 7 p,m,, Benediction, At the 9 o'clock morning services and the evening services His Grace will preach, The Rev Fathers'' McKenna and Goggan will assist at all services,
